The Bedside takes one of the simplest pieces of furniture in the bedroom and gives it the Lit Timber treatment.

Handmade from reclaimed scaffold timber, this chunky floating bedside shelf retains all the knots, grain, saw marks and imperfections that give reclaimed wood its character. Because every piece of timber is different, no two Bedsides will ever be exactly the same.

Hidden underneath is a slim LED light recessed directly into the timber. The light source itself is tucked out of sight, leaving just a soft pool of warm light washing down the wall beneath the shelf — perfect for creating a relaxed atmosphere without the need for a traditional bedside lamp.

With no legs or bulky cabinet underneath, The Bedside also keeps the floor clear and works particularly well in smaller bedrooms.

The lighting can be supplied battery powered or mains powered, and a remote control is included, allowing you to operate the light conveniently from bed.

As with all Lit Timber Co. pieces, The Bedside is made to order. We can adjust the width, depth, timber finish and lighting configuration to suit your room.

The £20 listing price is a deposit, not the full purchase price. Once your order is placed, we’ll contact you to discuss exactly what you’d like. We’ll then confirm the specification and final price before invoicing you for the remaining balance, with your £20 deposit deducted.
